UPDATE

After falling off the face of the blogging earth I have finally found my way back and will try to keep this thing updated more frequently. The winter training part of the season has begun and boy am I way behind. It is hard to find time in between the girlfriend time, classes, and my professional drinking career, but hopefully this christmas break will help me get into more of a routine so I can begin training regularly.
I decided to race for my collegiate team this season due to my indecision about how dedicated I want to be to racing this year. I turned down two decent teams so hopefully the lone UT racer image will pay off if I decide to get my poop in a group and start to train for what could be my last racing season dfor a few years. I guess you could say I am coming up to a bit of a cross-roads, but needless to say when the time comes to make a decision I will be more than confident in whatever choice I make. Ok, I should save some info for later posts.

Still waiting

Still waiting to hear from the team that wanted to sign me for the upcoming season. The delay is finalizing some sponsorship information so i wont know if it fianl until they do. I am going to keep my fingers crossed as this could be a fantastic opportunity.
I actually exercised today, decided to run a mile. I was going to do more but I didnt want to be sore so I called it a day. There is nothing too excited to talk about so I will end it right here. I will update here in a few days.

Takin' it easy

This is a new powermeter that I am excited about. Its called Quarq.

This past week or so has been pretty nice. I havent really touched the bike unless I really feel the urge to go out and have a joy ride. I am not motivated to even look at my road bike quite yet cause I know in 3 weeks that I will be on it plenty. Just going through the motions right now, nothing ubber exciting. I will keep you posted once the training takes a step up in excitement. Ta ta for now.

Boring day

Well, today was fun. I did a whole bunch of nothing. I guess I picked the wrong time of year to start a blog. I am about one week into my four weeks off, so needless to say I am just going to class then after that I sit on my butt for the rest of the day. I guess I need to enjoy the time off while I have it because once my winter training rolls around I will have to have my poop in a group. OK, enough babbling. Peace out.

So, here is my new blog. Right now it is a work in progress so please excuse the ugliness you might see until I work the bugs out.
Right now it is basically my offseason so not too much to report right now, sent off some team resumes so wish me luck that one of these teams will pick me up and give me a chance for the 2008 season. I'll keep you posted. Thats it for now.
